John Andrews and John Berry formed JAB Associates in 1990 to provide a bespoke recruitment service for sales and marketing appointments within the building industry and allied sectors.
Since then the company has grown into a national operation based around expertise and an intimate knowledge of the marketplace. From humble beginnings the head office was established in Hertfordshire, joined in the late 1990s by Wolverhampton and then Warrington. Continual investment in staff training and state of the art IT systems have helped JAB to consolidate its position as a market leader in its field.
Its easy to call yourself a market leader but JAB take the description very seriously. Recruitment in the building industry doesnt have the best reputation - stories abound of recruitment agencies offering a poor service and an even poorer result. JAB over a number of years has led the way to a more professional approach to recruiting, giving every consideration to both client and candidate, our objective always being to provide a long term and effective solution. As a direct consequence, the vast majority of our work is repeat work with the same clients.
Despite its growth JAB has never lost sight of its true aims in offering a personal service to both clients and candidates. The future of the business is increasingly Pan-European and the challenge will be to satisfy a growing complex market whilst maintaining core values.
