Andy Lee of the company scooped up a prize at this year's Construction Manager of the Year ceremony.

His success came in the Restoration category for the Tavistock Square BMA House.

Mr Lee said afterwards: "Working on BMA House, as with all our restoration projects, was both challenging and rewarding for all involved and the whole team is proud of the result. I believe that receiving this award recognises how well everybody worked together."

Construction Manager of the Year has been running now for 31 years. This year's event took place in London at the Marriott, Grosvenor House.

The Chartered Institute of Building was responsible for judging the awards, with the presentations being made by Natasha Kaplinsky, of Channel Five news.

Kier's business has four departments with activities including facilities management, civil engineering and commercial property investment.
