The Women into Construction project aims to create training and employment opportunities for females on the Olympic Park construction site.
So far, the project has supported 111 women into jobs on the Olympic Park, bringing the total of women on the site to 270.
Women are under-represented in the construction industry as a whole.
However, Women into Construction's efforts mean that females now account for six per cent of the Olympic Park workforce, compared to the national average of two per cent.
John Armitt, chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) said: "The Women into Construction project is an important part of our commitment to leave a jobs and skills legacy for east London and the wider construction industry."
On Tuesday (December 15th), the latest progress of the Olympic Stadium was marked by the cable-net roof of the London 2012 flagship venue being lifted into place.
