Galliford Try has announced the acquisition of the Rosemullion Property Company, a well established housebuilder based in Cornwall.

The £200,000 acquisition will add nine sites to the construction and housebuilding group's existing business in the south west of England.
Trading as Rosemullion Homes, the Rosemullion Property Company has a strong reputation for developing quality homes for its local markets and secured the What House? Housebuilder of the Year award in 2008.
Galliford Try Homes itself scooped silver at last year's What House? Awards in the Best Large Housebuilder category.
The multi award-winning developer was commended for its strong mix of regional brands, incorporating Linden Homes, Stamford Homes, Midas Homes and Gerald Wood Homes.
Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Galliford Try, said it had been an excellent opportunity to acquire a quality local housebuilder in line with the firm's aim of developing its housebuilding business.
