We are looking for a Project Cost Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Doha/Korea

Start Date: 01-AUG-2024

End Date: 31-AUG-2025

Doha Logistics allowance: SINGLE status

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in similar activities for Oil & Gas projects.
  • Advanced knowledge & experience in use of relevant computer systems
  • EPC Contracts mechanisms
  • Fluency in English

Accountabilities

  • In charge of Project Controls activities under direct supervision of CPP Package Lead
  • Lead the CPP Project Controls team
  • Lead development of Project Controls execution for CPP Package
  • Supervision of project controls activities, and other services for the CPP package: Cost control, Budgeting, Contracts, Planning and scheduling, risks, Administration, Personnel coordination, IT.

Activities

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instruction and other Company HSE procedures in all activities
  • To carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices
  • To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality
  • Lead development of package specific Project Controls execution strategies.
  • Coordinate with PL on reporting, project control activities, and other services.
  • Manage development of procedures including budget preparation, forecasts, progress validation and related cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions;
  • Supervision of cost engineering activities including development and implementation of CPP cost control systems, invoice processing activities, monthly cost reporting, trending, FAC Analysis, cost variance analysis, funding budgets and cash forecast
  • Supervision of cost estimating/forecasting activities including periodic project re-estimates
  • Supervision of planning & scheduling activities including detailed project schedules, progress and performance monitoring, schedule deviations.
  • Facilitate and oversee the risk assessment, mitigation and contingency planning process for the CPP Package
  • Coordinate and issue necessary project reports, including progress, cost and schedule;
  • Ensure that invoices are tracked, confirmed and handed off to Accounts Payable properly.
  • Supervision of contract administration activities, including correspondences and change management.
  • Supervision of administrative and services of CPP package as required such as IT, personnel logistics coordination.
