Job Purpose

Provide and handle compensation and benefits services to enable the Company to continue to attract and retain qualified personnel at competitive and cost-effective levels.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

  • Work independently in accordance with established Company Policy and Procedures. Completed assignments are subject to review.
  • Expected and required to demonstrate initiative and flexibility due to the dynamic nature of jobs, the job market and salary and benefits administration.
  • Deal with a multi-national and multi-cultural environment; this presents particular challenges when dealing with confidential information.
  • Another challenge works to tight deadlines on various reports including merit increase and performance bonuses need to be 100% accurate as they go to top management approval.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Prepare internal salary comparisons for contract conversions, contracts extension and salary reviews, highlighting any impacts on internal equity.
  • Process all salary administration activities through the PAF Workflow, including promotions, transfer, contract changes. Liaise with supervisors/secretaries to discuss any details or issues with PAF's. Ensure position titles are aligned with the company title framework and salary grade.
  • Gather information on performance rating for all employees and prepare the final report on the distribution, highlighting any variances for final sign-off by HR Manager.
  • Prepare the annual performance bonus and merit increase review, ensuring correct calculations are made and meeting the submission deadline. Validate all data by cross checking the payment amount in SAP with the approved payment amount and follow up any discrepancies found.
  • Extract and prepare data to support the annual Total Rewards Surveys and other HR Benchmarking reports. Prepare adhoc SAP reports as requested to assist in further analysis or decision making.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Provide ad-hoc and accurate costing analysis reports in timely manner, including for merit, bonus, budget, policy review and allowances and any other costing reports.
  • Prepare the monthly HR budget report, highlights any variances, and ensure proper allocations in the respective HR cost centres. Coordinate with finance to update the accrual and forecast reports to ensure accuracy and take corrective action for any misallocations.
  • Participate in the annual budget cycle process, prepare, and update the annual budget assumptions for workforce budget for the entire QG. Conduct and prepare analysis report for planned HR budget for Compensation Lead's review.
  • Provide support for processing salary offer advice for new recruits, ensure candidates meet minimum job requirements, job titles are aligned, correct salary grades are stated, and that salary offers are positioned correctly to ensure the offer is attractive, cost effective and internal equity is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 4 years' experience in human resources administration, out of which 3 years in salary management & compensation.

Technical and Business Skills

  • Good professional level of English, verbal and written.
  • High numerate and detail oriented with drive for efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Computer skills including full MS Office Suite, advanced level Excel including experience in manipulating and working with multiple data sheets.
  • Good knowledge of using SAP, including report generation.
