This Senior Finance Data Management Analyst will join the Finance Data Management team in Bangalore, a key group within Honeywell's Finance Systems team. The Finance Systems team plays a huge role in revolutionizing how we enable digital technology and data assets to generate the right information at the right time for our business leaders to drive value. Digital Transformation drives optimization of Finance processes in areas such as Credit to Cash, Accounting, Planning and Forecasting, Management Reporting etc.

The Finance Systems team connects Data, Process, People and Technology across the enterprise. This function aims at enabling standardized digital tool kits, cloud-based systems, digitization solutions and simplified data sources to optimize the processes end to end. Our vision is to modernize Finance platforms to enable world-class capabilities through the digitization of business processes while leveraging data as an asset to make a measurable impact on our business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• End to end process ownership of Finance Data Management initiatives, including data governance, data quality and data standards
• Provide customer support to internal Honeywell teams for Finance Data Governance process and the EHM tool (Enterprise Hierarchy Management)
• Utilize EHM and SAP to manage and maintain Finance Master Data including cost centers, profit centers, chart of accounts, etc.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process and technical challenges
• Project Support
• Work closely with cross functional ERP teams in support of SAP enhancements and deployments
• Provide support for the Finance Master Data requirements for Acquisitions and Reorganizations
• Process Improvement
• Continue to improve efficiency by evaluating, testing and using better processes, tools, transactions and reports
• Review manual processes and work with IT teams to implement automation

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
• 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance Role
• Experience using ERPs and/or Finance Spanning Layer systems (FDS, HFM, etc)

This role is key in supporting ongoing data maintenance activities, providing system knowledge for SAP and EHM and process support for end users. This position is also a key participant in the automation of processes that take advantage of potential productivity gains within finance.

WE VALUE

• Thorough knowledge of month end closing processes within SAP
• Experience in Management Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis
