Senior Advanced Software Engineer - Anthem CoE

This role involves technical leadership in the Anthem area for the functionality development and features testing:

• The role is required to demonstrate thought leadership in software development and Lean/Agile program execution.

• This role is required to demonstrate technical leadership in new Anthem SW solution design.

• The candidate should have the capability to understand the system requirements and perform full SW life cycle activities (design, implementation, and testing).

• Provide investigation support for tool issues. Handles issues/roadblocks. Participates in design reviews and technical decision making.

• Mentor the junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.

• Collaborates/ actively with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation/information.

• Performs competitive intelligence and IP analysis. Motivates functional team in IP creation for the Product in the field of expertise.

• Seeking proactive feedback for continuous improvement and Build relationships and collaborating with business partners and stakeholders in SBG's / SBU's.

• Excellent focus on execution, should ensure responsiveness to customers, team and management.

• Driving innovation, creating growth ideas relevant to global & local markets, products, and initiatives

Skills Requirements:

• B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering

• Minimum 12 years of experience working development of engineering web applications supporting mission critical functions/programs.

• Must have Strong knowledge of Avionics, SW development & V&V

• Software and System integration experience.

• Strong knowledge in SW programming and Test dev/exec.

• Strong hands-on experience in development of SW applications using C/C++.

• Knowledge in C#, Python or other scripting languages would be an added advantage.

• Prefer exposure to TI Hercules Microcontroller & A664 networking.

• Experience on AFDX, CAN, A429 bus topologies.

• Exposure on DO178B/C process.

• Prior experience on aerospace safety critical embedded application.

• Familiarity with JIRA and Bitbucket; CI/CD using Bamboo/Octopus.

• Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.

• Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external).

• Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
